Blog Transformation

Hello!

I'm Ashley and this blog originally started as a college assignment 2 years ago. I have since graduated with my Associates degree in Business Management and am finished with school at least for awhile but who knows what the future brings. Currently I live in El Paso, Texas where my husband is stationed in the United States Army. Last year we went through our first deployment and I am glad that it is over!

My husband and I have a 3 (almost 4) year old son. He can be a handful sometimes and drive me up the wall but he's very loved (and SPOILED). He is actually the reason I decided to start doing this blog again. I happen to be a big Pinterest fan, so of course I am always finding all kinds of cool ideas to try out. I recently found an idea that I am working on for Mason. I won't tell you what it is yet because I am in the middle of completing it and I plan to put that as my first tutorial I guess you could say. My version of the wonderful idea I found. :)

Anyways, it's back to work for me! I hope you check back to see my finished product! If you have younger kids I know you will appreciate it!

End of the term

Hello Everyone,

This is the last week of this term! I am excited to be done with my research paper and move onto a new class. I learned a lot but I am ready to tackle something different and get closer to my degree! I hope everyone else did well in their courses! Good luck!

End of the term

Well we are at the end of the term. One more week after this one and we will be done with these courses. I am excited, I feel like the courses are going by fast which means I will have my degree in no time! I am a little nervous about my clinical's but it will be okay. All of these courses are to prepare me for them!

Other than school, the holidays are coming! It is going to be tough this year. My first holiday season without my family and as soon as the holidays are done, my husband will be on his way to Kuwait. Needless to say I am very nervous about the holidays ending. I have never been completely on my own with our son. Good thing that I am making some friends. I will need them, as they will need me. Anyways I can't think about this subject too much because it will get me down. I have to focus on enjoying the holidays and my time with my husband.

Busy Month

Hi Everyone,

This month there is a lot going on. With my sons 2nd birthday coming up and all of the halloween activities there is almost too much to do. Tomorrow I am taking my son to the Amigo Air Show at Fort Bliss. He will love it, I know he will! He love's airplanes, tractors, trucks, cars, trains, pretty much anything with a motor! I am still doing the last few things on the house. Putting up pictures and organzing things. We are missing a few things for the house like a dresser! Thats the biggest one lol. Hopefully we will be able to get one soon. Well I don't have much else going on. This english paper is kicking my butt. I am not very good at research papers. I am struggling to fix it and lengthen it! I hope everyone is doing well on their own papers!

Catching up!!

Hello All!

I am finally caught up on my work! Yay!!! It's a miracle! I still have a lot of reading to catch up on for my Medical Terminology class but at least I have gotten all of my work submitted. I was so worried about that! 

I am slowly getting used to El Paso. It is a lot different than what I am used to but it's not bad. I have met a few Army wives and hopefully I can start getting together with them. I need to have some good friends nearby for when my husband is deployed. It is coming way too quickly. He leaves at the end of January and I am not looking forward to that! He will be gone at least a year. It is going to be tough but at least I know he isn't going to the worst spot. Anyways I need to get my son washed up and into bed. Night all!

Stress, Ohh stress.

Hi Everyone!
I'm back! Well I never really went anywhere. See this past week we moved into our house last Wednesday and have been busy with Army meetings and things we have to do. We called to get internet connected and with all the troops coming into Fort Bliss we had to wait a week for everything. The internet provider just came to our house today and our furniture and things just got here yesterday. We don't even get our mailbox key until tomorrow! It has been very chaotic and stressful. I wasn't able to do alot of my homework because we did not have internet and I can't drag my 2 year old out to sit at McDonalds for an hour or two. We don't know anyone here yet for me to leave him with AND on top of all that my car battery has been dying on me for the last week. We just got a new one yesterday. Ugh, so I am doing my best to catch up as quick as I can! Hopefully I can bring my grades up!

A new start.

Hello Everyone.

Not a whole lot going on here. We have moved into our new place, it is nice and perfect for us. The only difficulty this week is that with all the soldiers coming into El Paso everything is taking forever. We do not get our furniture and things from storage until this coming Tuesday when we moved in this past Wednesday. Also making this whole process very difficult, I will not have internet at my home until this coming Wednesday. That has been my biggest worry. It is very difficult to get to the seminars when I must go out somewhere and take my 2 year old with me. I am new here and do not know anyone yet so my only options are McDonald's or some other place in town. Anyways wish me luck that I can get this weeks work done on time!
