End of the term

Hello Everyone,

This is the last week of this term! I am excited to be done with my research paper and move onto a new class. I learned a lot but I am ready to tackle something different and get closer to my degree! I hope everyone else did well in their courses! Good luck!

End of the term

Well we are at the end of the term. One more week after this one and we will be done with these courses. I am excited, I feel like the courses are going by fast which means I will have my degree in no time! I am a little nervous about my clinical's but it will be okay. All of these courses are to prepare me for them!

Other than school, the holidays are coming! It is going to be tough this year. My first holiday season without my family and as soon as the holidays are done, my husband will be on his way to Kuwait. Needless to say I am very nervous about the holidays ending. I have never been completely on my own with our son. Good thing that I am making some friends. I will need them, as they will need me. Anyways I can't think about this subject too much because it will get me down. I have to focus on enjoying the holidays and my time with my husband.

Busy Month

Hi Everyone,

This month there is a lot going on. With my sons 2nd birthday coming up and all of the halloween activities there is almost too much to do. Tomorrow I am taking my son to the Amigo Air Show at Fort Bliss. He will love it, I know he will! He love's airplanes, tractors, trucks, cars, trains, pretty much anything with a motor! I am still doing the last few things on the house. Putting up pictures and organzing things. We are missing a few things for the house like a dresser! Thats the biggest one lol. Hopefully we will be able to get one soon. Well I don't have much else going on. This english paper is kicking my butt. I am not very good at research papers. I am struggling to fix it and lengthen it! I hope everyone is doing well on their own papers!

Catching up!!

Hello All!

I am finally caught up on my work! Yay!!! It's a miracle! I still have a lot of reading to catch up on for my Medical Terminology class but at least I have gotten all of my work submitted. I was so worried about that! 

I am slowly getting used to El Paso. It is a lot different than what I am used to but it's not bad. I have met a few Army wives and hopefully I can start getting together with them. I need to have some good friends nearby for when my husband is deployed. It is coming way too quickly. He leaves at the end of January and I am not looking forward to that! He will be gone at least a year. It is going to be tough but at least I know he isn't going to the worst spot. Anyways I need to get my son washed up and into bed. Night all!

Stress, Ohh stress.

Hi Everyone!
I'm back! Well I never really went anywhere. See this past week we moved into our house last Wednesday and have been busy with Army meetings and things we have to do. We called to get internet connected and with all the troops coming into Fort Bliss we had to wait a week for everything. The internet provider just came to our house today and our furniture and things just got here yesterday. We don't even get our mailbox key until tomorrow! It has been very chaotic and stressful. I wasn't able to do alot of my homework because we did not have internet and I can't drag my 2 year old out to sit at McDonalds for an hour or two. We don't know anyone here yet for me to leave him with AND on top of all that my car battery has been dying on me for the last week. We just got a new one yesterday. Ugh, so I am doing my best to catch up as quick as I can! Hopefully I can bring my grades up!

A new start.

Hello Everyone.

Not a whole lot going on here. We have moved into our new place, it is nice and perfect for us. The only difficulty this week is that with all the soldiers coming into El Paso everything is taking forever. We do not get our furniture and things from storage until this coming Tuesday when we moved in this past Wednesday. Also making this whole process very difficult, I will not have internet at my home until this coming Wednesday. That has been my biggest worry. It is very difficult to get to the seminars when I must go out somewhere and take my 2 year old with me. I am new here and do not know anyone yet so my only options are McDonald's or some other place in town. Anyways wish me luck that I can get this weeks work done on time!

Finally!!!

Hello Everyone!

Well I have been telling you about my journey to El Paso, Texas and my search for a house. We FINALLY have found a place. We signed the lease on Friday and are just waiting for them to finish their improvements and cleaning. I am very excited, we should be out of the hotel by Tuesday or Wednesday! I cannot wait to have a home with a kitchen and space to move around again! I know my son can't wait either, he is tired of playing in a cramped area in the hotel with nowhere for him to play outside or run around. We still aren't sure where our things are. They are in El Paso somewhere in storage so we must call them and have the Army move our things to our new home. I don't even care if we don't have bed's to sleep on right away, as long as we have our own place! Anyways, I just wanted to update on what is going on here in Texas. The whole moving situation has put a damper on my school because I have not had a lot of time to dedicate to it between eating out every meal and looking for a place. I cannot wait to get back on track and have a schedule. Hope everyone is doing well!

Stress ohhh Stress...

Hello Everyone,

Well we made the long journey to El Paso, Texas from Vero Beach, Florida. It took us 3 1/2 days of driving. We are in El Paso now staying in a hotel. Getting situated is not easy in the Army, at least not if you have a family. My husband has to apply for on base housing but there is a waiting list and we will not be able to get one for at least a few months. We haven't been able to look for apartments because my husband has been gone all day during the week so when he gets back to the hotel it is too late to go see apartments.I do not know my way around yet and cannot make any decisions because the Army must check through the lease as part of the process. It is definitely stressful. I know I am already sick of eating out. I am dying to cook a real meal! Hopefully everyone else's week is going well! Leave me some comments!!!!

Big Changes

Hello Everyone,

I have not been able to do much here because I am in the process of moving. My husband, my son, and I had to move to El Paso, Texas because my husband is in the Army and is being stationed at Fort Bliss. We left on Thursday and just got here yesterday. I am kind of far behind on my school work unfortunately so hopefully I can accomplish everything I need to in the next 2 days, even if it means late credit. I am not usually late with assignments so this is very difficult for me but I do not have much of a choice. The Army has a tight schedule to get everything done. We are going to be behind already because they don't do processing on holidays. Needless to say there is a lot going on in our lives right now so wish me luck!!
